The Unadulting Society

A human-moderated, SFW safe haven for neurodivergent adults, trauma survivors, and regressive/somatic healers. Zero tolerance for bad actors.

📜 Community Guidelines

Welcome to The Unadulting Society! We’re a human-moderated, safe-for-work community built for neurodivergent adults, trauma survivors, and anyone exploring regressive or somatic healing. These guidelines exist to keep this space warm, respectful, and genuinely safe for everyone who shows up in good faith.

1. Be Kind & Respectful

Treat others the way you’d want to be treated. No harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or bullying of any kind. Disagreement is okay — cruelty is not. If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face with compassion, don’t post it here.

2. Stay Safe-for-Work (SFW)

This is a strictly SFW space. No explicit, suggestive, or not-safe-for-work content is allowed — ever. Keep all discussions, references, and language appropriate for a community where members may be in vulnerable or regressive headspaces.

3. Respect Boundaries & Consent

Many of our members are trauma survivors. Respect boundaries, practice consent in all interactions, and understand that “no” or disengagement is a complete sentence. Don’t push, don’t pry, and don’t demand responses. Everyone moves at their own pace.

4. Search Before Posting

Before starting a new thread, take a moment to check if a similar discussion already exists. This helps keep the forum organized and makes it easier for everyone to find information and join ongoing conversations.

5. Text-Only & No Links

Our forum is intentionally text-only. All HTML, Markdown, BBCode, links, images, and formatting are stripped from posts before they appear. This keeps the space focused on genuine human conversation rather than performance or external noise.

6. Zero Tolerance for Bad Actors

We have zero tolerance for trolls, spammers, griefers, or anyone acting in bad faith. Accounts that violate these guidelines may be suspended or permanently banned at moderator discretion. If you see something that doesn’t belong, use the report button or reach out to a moderator.

7. Moderation & Content Review

Some posts may be automatically flagged for manual review. This is an automated precaution, not a punishment. Moderators review flagged content as quickly as possible. If you believe a flag was made in error, you may contact a moderator for review.

8. Protecting the Community

New accounts have a brief waiting period before they can create threads or reply. This helps protect the community from spam and bad actors. We appreciate your patience — it’s one of the ways we keep this space genuinely safe.

Thank you for being part of The Unadulting Society. 💜
