Not "flying" or "invisibility" or "super strength." We're talking about a power that makes your boring daily life marginally easier. 5% improvement. Enough to notice, not enough to save the world.
Mine: The ability to always find a matching pair of socks on the first try. Not "all my socks are magically matched." I still have to go through the basket. But the FIRST sock I grab will always have its partner within three inches. That's it. That's the power. I'd be unstoppable.

the ability to know if i locked the front door without having to go back and check. not to magically lock it. i still have to lock it myself. but afterwards i get a little notification in my brain: "door secured." the mental freedom would be IMMEASURABLE.
I collect fountain pens and I've learned that the right tool changes everything. Not because it's expensive — my favorite pen cost $30 — but because it feels right in my hand. The weight, the balance, the way the ink flows. There's a lesson in that somewhere about finding the things that fit YOU instead of trying to fit yourself into things that weren't made for you.
There's something about working with your hands that reconnects you to being human in a way screens never can. I strip rust off old cast iron pans. My friend builds model trains. Another friend bakes sourdough. Different tools, same impulse — making something tangible in a world that increasingly wants everything to be digital and disposable.
The power to always know which Tupperware lid matches which container. No more lid drawer chaos. No more holding up lids one by one like a sad puzzle. I open the drawer and the correct lid glows faintly. Just for me.
the ability to pour exactly the right amount of pasta without measuring. no more "that looks about right" followed by enough spaghetti to feed a small army. my power tells me the precise amount. i am the pasta whisperer.
